Rank Information
The Carousers have a very simple ranking system. Ranks serve 2 purposes:
- To identify someone’s status within the clan
- Provide a user with permissions to fulfill an assigned job within the clan. Changes in rank are neither an honour or dishonour, nor a promotion or demotion.
In the RuneScape games, there are ranks which do not directly correspond to a clan rank status. These are the previously mentioned ranks which provide a user permissions to fulfill an assigned job. Even though they hold a higher rank in the game, their clan rank is still what it would be without this role.
Below are the ranks within the Caped Carousers
Provisional Member
Provisional Members are clan members who have recently joined. Typically they hold this status for 2 weeks.
After their probationary period, they will be assigned as either a Reveller or Carouser, depending on if they have completed all the quests in the game they are joining on.
Reveller
This status is held by clan members who have not completed all quests in the game.
Carouser
Clan members hold the status of “Carouser” once they have completed all the quests in the game.
Should new quests be released, Carousers will retain this status and no longer return to being a Reveller.
Inebriate
Inebriate is a title given to Senior members who are recognized for their time and service to the clan. This is not a role that can be sought after, and is only given to members by the Clan Leader.
If required, Inebriates may assist with mediation of disputes within the clan, serving as quasi-clan moderators.
Deputy Leader
Deputy Leaders are appointed by the Clan Leader to assist in the day-to-day operations of the clan. They may also stand in as Clan Leader in their absence.
The current Deputy Leaders are Wintergotha and YtHaar-Mej.
Clan Leader
Through a consultative autocracy, the Clan Leader runs the clan. While others may be appointed as leaders for different games, the “Owner” rank on RuneScape represents the true leader of the clan.

Previously, this role has been held by Lumine, and founder Archaeox.

The ranks of OS Carousers follow a similar design to the main RuneScape clan. Icons and titles may be different due to the customisability of the Old School clan system.

Deputy Leaders aide the OSRS clan lead in day-to-day operations of the OS Carousers. Also held by the current Clan Leader.
OSRS Lead
Owner status is granted to the appointed player who will oversee the OS Carousers, by the Clan Leader.

Rank Structure (Brighter Shores)
As of right now, we don’t have any set ranks on Brighter Shores. This is mainly because the game is still in “early release”, and there isn’t any proper clan support yet.
Historic Ranks
This will serve as an archive for old ranks/statues that are no longer used.
Drunkard
Drunkard was formerly for family members granted clan access without having to meet the minimum requirements to join.
They would later be promoted to Carouser status if they achieved quest cape.
Tippler
Tippler was once reserved for alt accounts of clan members.
With the opening of the clan chat to guests, alternate accounts no longer need membership to be able to participate in the clan chat.
