General notes:

Croesus is a skilling boss. As such, the appropriate skill outfits or auras for your starting node (fishing, hunting, mining or woodcutting) are very helpful.
The Artificer’s Measure will speed up statue restoration.
You will need logs (protean logs) or a Fyrtorch to burn off the sticky fungus from around your feet.
There are definite benefits to being on Ancient Magicks and using the Crystal Mask spell – this will prevent one incidence of damage to you, which is particularly useful when the orange slimes appear.

These are the strategies the Carousers use for teams of 8, 4 and 3, for other numbers we adjust on the fly.

Two people on each node, each person gathers 16-18 resources and kills the corpse, extras can be gathered from the surrounding guard corpses.
One person moves one segment/section and deposits at statue, the other person moves two and deposits
Someone else will also be at the statue you end up with, between the two of you repair the statue
Between the two of you gather 10 rot and one of you will rot the corpse.
Wait for second ‘sticky middle’
Wait for all statues to be repaired.
Pray all statues at once, move to middle attack core
Do *not* click the red particles when they appear, click the white ones and the green ones
Collect Loot and Profit!

Gather resources from the node you are at, deposit 16-18 in deposit box continue gathering until the boss corpse is dead, gather extra from the surrounding guard corpses if needed
Take 16-18 resources and move to next section, deposit at statue
Take the resources from the deposit box at that section, move two sections, deposit at statue and repair
Gather rot and rot corpse
Wait for second ‘sticky middle’
Wait for all statues to be repaired
Pray at all statues, move to middle and attack core
Do *not* click the red particles when they appear, click the white ones and the green ones
Collect Loot and Profit!
